NOTIFICATION #12 – BE READY FOR THE ODC!
Hi riders! The rally is almost here, and this is your final rundown of how things will work on the day. Please read carefully and ask if anything is unclear.

ROUTES & NAVIGATION
Your routes will only be available from 6 AM on ODC day. If you have registered for the event on RBR, you will be able to download them in the morning.
– Open the RBR appon your mobile device and go to Events.
– Your registration will be listed there.
– Open Events, and your navigation routes will be available for quick download before we ride at 7 AM.

Myself and Ruben will be available to assist if needed.

ON THE DAY
– Briefing:Starts 6:30 AM sharp. Don’t be late.
– Roadbook Riders:Start from 7:00 AMwith 1-2 minute gaps (max 2 per group).
– GPX Riders:Start from 7:20 AMwith 1-2 minute gaps (max 2 per group).

FUEL STOPS
– Fuel stops are every ~100 km.
– This is not a race, so take time to rest, refuel, and recharge.

PARKING
– Engen allows parking for bikes and normal cars only– no trailers.
– If bringing a trailer, park across the road at the small shopping center. Padel guards have agreed to watch over vehicles until 10 PM.
– Please park bikes in lineto maximize space.
– The registration gazebo will be set up at 5:30 AMand operational by 6 AM.

PENALTIES
– Speeding:Max event speed is 160 km/h.
– Speed Zones:Respect limits shown in navigation. Look for visual/audio warnings.
– STOP Penalties:A 5-second dead stopis required at STOP signs in the roadbook.

SUPPORT & SAFETY
– Sweep Riders:They follow behind but are notresponsible for recovery.
– Mechanical Issues:Preload EmergyMedor Netcare 911on your phone. If you need recovery or something serious happens, phone me. I have your family detailsand medical contactsto assist.
– Medical Support:Keep emergency numbers saved. If you need help, call me directly.

LIVE TRACKING
– If you want to be live tracked, stay online or regularly go online with your nav device.
– Online is only neededfor uploading your position and time.
– You can navigate offline—the roadbooks and routes remain available after downloading in the morning.

RALLY HQ AVAILABILITY
I will be driving in a bakkie and available by phone throughout the day. I will also be monitoring the WhatsApp groupfor any updates or assistance needed.
