Rampage Event Outride Event Entry & Indemnity

RAMPAGE INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

This indemnity agreement is entered into between Rally Rampage (Pty) Ltd, hereinafter referred to as "Rampage", and the individual completing this form and participating in the event, hereinafter referred to as "Entrant".

By participating in any Rampage event, including but not limited to social rides, One-Day Challenges (ODC), Multi-Day Challenges (MDC), training sessions, and any other riding activities organized by Rampage, the Entrant acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for their own safety, well-being, and actions. The Entrant confirms understanding of the risks involved and agrees to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

The Entrant understands that any form of motorcycle riding and motorcycle sports such as off-road riding and adventure riding is inherently dangerous and involves risks such as severe injury, disability, or death, but not limited to these conditions. It may also include damage to property or loss there-off, but not limited to. This includes but is not limited to falls, mechanical failures, collisions, exposure to extreme weather, navigation errors, and medical emergencies.

The Entrant acknowledges that any injuries, damages, or consequences arising from participation—both during and after the event—are solely their responsibility, even if caused by indirect consequences of the event.

The Entrant confirms that participation is voluntary, and they are not under any duress or external pressure to sign this agreement.

NAVIGATION & ROUTE RESPONSIBILITY

The Entrant acknowledges that Rampage may provide navigation tools, routes, mobile apps, software, roadbooks, GPX tracks, digital navigation platforms, and other navigation aids, but the responsibility to safely navigate remains entirely with the Entrant.

The Entrant accepts that errors, missing details, or unforeseen hazards may exist in the provided navigation materials, and they will exercise caution at all times.

MECHANICAL, MEDICAL & EVENT SUPPORT

Rampage does not provide any formal mechanical or medical support. Any assistance from fellow riders or organizers is voluntary and does not imply any liability.

The Entrant confirms that they are responsible for their own motorcycle’s maintenance and that their bike is in a roadworthy and safe condition.

The Entrant understands that medical assistance may not be immediately available, and it is their responsibility to have adequate medical insurance to cover emergency treatment, hospitalization, or evacuation if necessary.

Rampage and its organizers are not responsible for any after-effects of an injury sustained during an event, including medical complications, missed diagnoses, or post-event fatalities related to the Entrant’s participation.

TRAFFIC LAWS, LAND ACCESS & PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Entrant agrees to comply with all road laws, traffic regulations, and land access permissions while participating in the event.

The Entrant acknowledges that Rampage makes every effort to obtain permissions for land access, but the Entrant is responsible for any legal consequences if access is questioned or denied.

The Entrant understands that if confronted by landowners or authorities, they must handle the situation responsibly and courteously.

If the Entrant violates any traffic laws, trespasses on private land, or engages in unlawful activity, it is done at their own discretion and without the endorsement of Rampage.

LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNITY

The Entrant fully releases and indemnifies Rampage, its directors, staff, family members, event organizers, partners, sponsors, landowners, and any affiliated persons from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, legal actions, or liabilities arising from their participation.

This indemnity extends to all future Rampage events the Entrant participates in unless revoked in writing.

The Entrant acknowledges that this indemnity is binding upon their family, heirs, dependents, legal representatives, and successors.

REPRESENTATION & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Entrant acknowledges that they do not represent Rampage as a business, organization, or brand in any formal capacity. Any opinions, actions, or statements made by the Entrant are personal and do not reflect the views or positions of Rampage.

All information shared, learned, or obtained during Rampage events—including navigation methods, route details, processes, branding, designs, and any proprietary content—remains the intellectual property of Rampage and may not be copied, distributed, modified, or misrepresented in any form or media.

MEDIA CONSENT & USAGE

The Entrant understands that event photos and videos may be used by both the Entrant and Rampage.

The Entrant consents to Rampage using any media (photos, videos, recordings) shared or received via any platform, including WhatsApp, for marketing, promotional, or social media purposes.

The Entrant waives any claims or rights to compensation regarding the use of their likeness in media content related to the event.

SIGNING FOR MINORS & VALIDITY

If the Entrant is under 18 years of age, this indemnity must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts full responsibility for the Entrant’s participation.

The Entrant confirms that they are signing for themselves and not on behalf of any other participant.

The Entrant acknowledges that this agreement applies not only during the event but also for any post-event consequences related to their participation.

DIGITAL SIGNATURE VALIDITY

The Entrant confirms that they are fully authorized to sign this document. This signature is digital and legally binding, and the Entrant acknowledges its validity as if signed in person.
